Rachel Moore MSCNS, CLC, CNS & CNGS Candidate
Rachel began her journey to becoming a health practitioner in 2017 when she graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor’s in Biology, with an emphasis in Human Anatomy & Physiology. When she was 21, she became chronically ill experiencing myriad symptoms that stumped most medical professionals. Three years later, she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, which changed her outlook on life. Over the next 9 years, Rachel continually struggled with multiple health conditions, disability, and more. She sought help from numerous medical professionals, and found the most impactful treatments coming from nature. Integrative and Naturopathic professionals helped Rachel change her diet and lifestyle, spurring her to want the same for others. Today, Rachel lives with SIRS (Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardic Syndrome), and HPA Axis Dysfunction as a result of “Long-Covid”. Miraculously, none of these things deterred her passion and love for healthcare and other people. In 2022, she became a Certified Lactation Counselor and has helped countless women across seven states connect with themselves and their new babies. She sought out the Masters of Clinical Nutrition Science from Sonoran University of Health Sciences as a way to become a well-rounded health practitioner and help women have a healthy journey in and through motherhood. Rachel graduated from Sonoran Suma Cum Laude with honors, and is half way through her licensing program to become a Kentucky state licensed Certified Nutrition Specialist and Certified Nutrigenomic Specialist. She is continuing her education by pursuing an Advanced Lactation Practitioner certification as well as a Functional Neurology and Nutrition Certification.
Rachel has lived in Colorado, California, Arizona, Oregon, Texas, and Kentucky. She is married to an Air Force veteran and has two cats, Honey (8) and Reese (7) who are traveling professionals at this point. She enjoys cooking and baking, nature walks, bicycling, and finding the best cinnamon rolls in every state she travels to.
